Paulo Vale’s technique consists of using traditional manufacturing methods to make cutlery and jewellery from solid plates and bars of metal gives the final product a particularly pure finish, in the edges, the outlines and the surfaces.

For Vale, the creative process is largely stimulated by hidden challenges such as the high level of technical difficulty required to achieve a design using a particular material; usually the bigger the challenge, the more inspired is this process.
